As you find your way as a connected coach, these pathmarkers may help in guiding. They are intentionally unnumbered as this journey is as much an art as it may be a science. In this journey, as in others, there may be detours, there may be a need to loop back and revisit. As you wind your way through trust building, questioning, and facilitating design thinking, always be mindful of celebrating progress.

Let these markers light your way, yet not be prescriptive, as you facilitate the journey of others toward a more accomplished reflective practice that is self directed.

Your role as a connected coach will be to deepen the learning experience for those you coach. You will be the bridge from the theory they are hearing to practical application applied in their own personal contexts. Self directed learning is a connection activity. It requires connection to the content and context, to oneself, and to those who are part of the learning community, community of inquiry and the network.
